I have known Sally for years and she always has a beautiful smile on her face and is so cheerful. I was super excited when she asked me to take their Engagement Photos, so Sally, Andy, and I headed down to the waterfront down in Post Alley and The Pike Place Market. We had lots of fun as it was a cloudy, yet a busy day in Seattle.
Now a little bit about the couple:
Sally works for an E Learning company in Fremont as an account executive and Andy works in the sales department for a national software supplier.
Andy and Sally love to eat at all the new restaurants that are popping up in Ballard, they love all types of seafood; oysters, crabs, scallop, you name it. “The Carpenter and the Walrus is one of our favorite places to eat!” How cool is that since that is one of the restaurants that my cousin owns. In the summer they like to go fishing, crabbing, and hanging out on his family’s boat. They love to travel and hope one day they will make it to Australia.
Andy proposed in the morning during one of their weekend rituals where one of them makes breakfast for the other. It was Andy’s turn to cook. Sally came out to the living room to get her breakfast that Andy had prepared. There were seared scallops and eggs along with a giant bouquet of Tulips (her favorites) on the coffee table. As they sat down to eat he told Sally he had a very important question to ask her and then pulled a box out of his sweatpants and handed it to her. The question was “Will you marry me?” She said YES but then was so excited that she had a hard time eating her breakfast.
The couple met in college at WSU and were good friends all four years. Sally then moved up to Seattle to start an internship at Microsoft. Andy and she started dating around that same time. They will be getting married on Kapalua Bay in Maui this summer with close friends and family. They have never been to the tropics together and are very excited for an exotic vacation to share their special day.
