A few months back I gave a free session away at a Girls Night Out cardio class at “Happy Hour by Marisa“. It was Mustache and our Photobooth night and it was so much fun! Diane was the lucky winner and she chose to have a session at the Arboretum with her boyfriend Justin. I had fun getting to know both of them as we had perfect light for their session. I am a huge fan of “golden light” and it honestly could not have been more perfect.
Here is a little bit about the couple:
Justin and Diane have been dating just shy of 5 years. Justin is an adrenaline junkie who lives for skiing in the winter, and racing his motorcycle in the summer. Originally from Pittsburgh, he loves his Steelers, Penguins, and Pirates! Justin is a strategy director at a local digital agency, Rational, and frequently caps off the workday with a good craft cocktail.
Born and raised in Seattle, Diane loves her city! While Justin is tearing up the double black diamonds and back-country, Diane owns the bunny hills (here’s to blues this winter!) Diane works in corporate real estate during the day, and attends school at night. (Go Dawgs!) She is an avid baker whose idea of unwinding includes a Kitchen-Aid and a piping bag. Ironically, Justin does not particularly like sweets – so Diane’s colleagues frequently get the beneficiaries of whatever baking whim strikes her.
Together, Justin and Diane recently took up Mountain Biking (and have a few scrapes to prove it). They love taking weekend trips to Whistler, Portland, and any place that promises good food, cocktails, and entertainment. They have plenty of self-portraits taken on trips by holding the camera in the air… it was time to get some “real” pictures!
This first shot showed how much fun we had….and let me mention that I didn’t even pose or suggest this. This just goes to show how much fun we have! 🙂 LOVE it!!!
