Three hearts become “ONE”!

I spent the afternoon with Elyce, Mike, and their adorable dog Bentley! Yes, not only another “Engagement Session” which I LOVE to do but I also got to spend time meeting their adorable puppy! I am a huge dog fan so I am always smiling when people ask me if they can bring their dogs to join in the session. Elyce and Mike are so in love, and it totally shows! They had me rollin’ and laughin many times that I even had tears in my eyes! We had fun walking around the gorgeous Arboretum, and then headed off to the Paramount Theatre to get fancier shots.

Here is a little bit about the couple:

Mike is a quiet, patient, loving, jazz bass playing, IT geek. Elyce is the ultimate crazy West Indian. She can’t do one thing at a time; she has to have her hands in every pot on the stove.  Elyce has too many talents to keep still and that’s why her job at a small non-profit organization is a perfect fit.  They have a huge, lovable puppy dog, Bentley, and he completes the immediate family. They rescued him from the pound and he thinks he went to heaven. Have you ever had a 115lb lap dog?  Well, they have one and he’s totally adorable!!!

Elyce and Mike loooove to spend time together, they like going to the live theatre as they are season ticket holders at the Seattle Rep. They attend as many concerts in the summer as they can fit in.  They love to travel, especially to warm tropical places; they consider themselves junior “foodies”…please hide the scales!   One of their favorite things though is order Chinese or Indian food, rent a movie and cuddle.  Their aaaaaahhhhh moments.

After eight years Elyce and Mike are getting married! Mike surprised the heck out of Elyce when he proposed! It couldn’t have been a better morning with pancakes shaped like hearts, beautiful flowers, balloons with “will + you + marry + me”. How sweet is that?
