Santa’s Little Helper!

I love photographing this sweet, little guy! Sawyer is becoming such a superstar with the camera now and he’s only “6 months”. Mommy (Danielle) and I brainstormed some fun ideas and we went to town. As you can tell Danielle is very crafty so this was so much fun. Sawyer wasn’t to sure what to think of it; he loved all the ball Christmas ornaments. I love using props but this one was extra special especially with this handsome little guy.

Holiday Photos with the “Grasser” Family!

I’m thankful to meet another amazing family! I donated this session to the “Lynnwood Expressions Skating Club” and this family won!

I know it rains a lot here in the Pacific Northwest but the morning of the photo shoot we were not talking just sprinkling it was down pouring. Most of my families would reschedule but this family was set on having their photos done and didn’t even make a peep as they were getting drenched and were all freezing cold. We all know that when your that cold your body is numb in a few minutes and yes that includes me the photographer. We all had a blast and had fun using the umbrellas too.

Now a little bit about the family:
The Grasser Family loves the outdoors! They enjoy spending their summer weekends entertaining on the deck, camping or at the beach, they get out and live a little – rain or shine! They live in the beautiful PNW and if they choose to schedule around the weather, there are many opportunities we would miss out on. Isn’t that what the adorable rubber boots and umbrellas are for? This photo shoot was perfect for them regardless of the rain. Where it could they have tested their patience, stressed mom out, or really messed up our hair, they made it a family event. Sherra’s sister in law helped with the shoot by chasing me around with an umbrella to try to keep my camera equipment dry (sister-in-law = drowned rat wet) and Sherra’s brother in law was ready & armed to put up the canopy. But that is how the Grasser’s work! They have a great love and commitment to family! Their family is a family of five – Dean, Sherra, Tyler (15), Emmy (12) and KC, their old, little “man’s best friend”.

I’m so excited to announce a CONTEST that I’ve never offered before!

I’m offering a $600 CUSTOM DESIGNED ALBUM to the WINNER of my 2011 BRIDE and GROOM CONTEST! (Qualified 2011 “full day”wedding couples only) If you’ve already ordered your custom designed album in your wedding day package I will be adding “20” more pages to your design, or you can an additional album at the $600 value.

Contest Dates- Friday, December 9th – Friday, December 30^th! (Contest ends at 11:59pm)

You’ll have 3 weeks to work your magic! I ‘ve posted up an album on my Facebook Fan page; and I’ve selected one of my favorite photos from your amazing day and posted them up in random order.

Susan Gallegos - The Engagement and wedding photos of Kyla Bennett and Christian Marshall are fantastic! Not only are they artistically pleasing, but they show true emotion on the faces of the bride and groom,as well as happiness in motion. This family is always having fun every minute of the day! They are always on the go and just so full of energy, amazing personalities, and always makes ME laugh! I have known Jenn and her family for years and always LOVE photographing them all. We met at The Bothell Landing and had a fun time on the bridge, watching the ducks, playing football in their Cougar attire, and taking in the beautiful scenery.

Now a little bit about the family:
Scott and Jenn met at WSU and both are die hard COUGARS!!!! Of course, raising their children with the same love of the crimson and grey. They met in 1994, married (celebrating 17 years next summer) and have lived in the Seattle area since graduating college together. The family loves to spend time camping, trips to Ocean Shores, and attending all types of sporting events! Mackenzee (13 years old) loves to play sports (soccer and basketball) and is an accomplished competitive cheerleader. Mack is the most responsible kid and a role model to many in her sports, academics, friendships, and has a great personality! Taylor (11 years old) loves to participate in sports as well (soccer and basketball) that she plays with her school friends and does very well. However, Tay is their “fish out of water” and has fallen in love with being a competitive swimmer! She excels at every stroke and contributes to her team relays at every meet! Tay is so kind and a friend to everyone-always with a smile on her face and in her heart! Gunnar is the spark in this family, full of energy, and always making life surprising! “Gman” is a talented athlete in many sports (soccer, basketball, baseball), but his true calling is football. He also enjoys making them laugh by being the clown, participating in any sporting events, and bothering his sisters!

Holiday Sessions in Full Swing!

I always love the first time I photograph a family, and this one was extra fun! A beautiful family, gorgeous location, and one very playful pooch! And, this family looked sharp, they were troopers in the freezing cold, and we had a fantastic time at Gene Coulon Beach Memorial Park.

Now a little about the family:
Their favorite times together as a family are at the ocean, parks, Leavenworth, and relaxing at home with a warm blanket and a good movie. They love spending quality time with each other and are grateful for all the simple things in life. Their oldest son Brandon, 12, enjoys being with his family. His favorite times are when they watch family movies, play board games, hang out together, and playing catch with dad. He also enjoys his X-Box and all sports. Their youngest son Mason, 9 ½, loves learning, exploring with his dad, and inventing. He also enjoys computer games and soccer. Their third child Sami, their doggie, brings so much love and life into their family. He is a crazy dog and always full of energy. There is never a dull moment with Sami, but they wouldn’t want him any other way! Peter and Tina just celebrated their 12th wedding anniversary in September and are looking forward to spending the rest of their lives together!
