Ally’s & Tim’s LOVE STORY!

I spent the morning with two LOVEBIRDS, Ally and Tim at GasWorks Park in Seattle for their Engagement Session. We had lots of fun walking around the park, laughing, enjoying the gorgeous view, and playing football!

Here is a little bit about the darling couple:

Ally & Tim are a couple who balance each other in a great way. They enjoy going to the movies, dinner dates at the Cheesecake Factory (Ally’s favorite place), and attending Seahawks games every season. Tim is originally from Albuquerque, NM and Ally is a Seattle native. Tim’s hobbies are playing basketball, hanging out with friends, and Call of Duty (an Xbox game). Ally enjoys singing and dancing, retail therapy, and a good chick flick! They are the best of friends and have fun just being silly and traveling through life’s journey together.

Ally & Tim met on October 25th, 2003 at their local mall. Tim worked at a cell phone kiosk in which he approached Ally to sell her a phone. Ally never bought the phone, but got something greater: Tim! Officially they became a couple in May 2004, where they spent the summer learning about each other and falling head over heels in love. Tim proposed on Christmas Eve 2004 after just 6 months of dating, and Ally of course, said YES! They welcomed their daughter, Jada Grace, into the world in May 2006, and are now making their family official and getting married on May 7th of this year, which just happens to be their 7 year anniversary! They are honeymooning in Hawaii, which will be a new experience for both of them!

“Marry me please”???

We started our photoshoot at the Bellevue Park where I captured some great smiles and experienced the love Robert & Kellie shared. We warmed up at Starbucks and walked around Lincoln SquareWe had a great time!

Here is a little bit about the couple:

Robert and Kellie have known each other since they were kids. They started dating in high school and have been inseparable ever since! Robert works for a curtain wall company based in Sacramento, with a satellite office in Kirkland. Kellie is a patient care technician at Overlake Hospital’s Mother/Baby unit. She’s currently a student at the University of Washington; studying business. Their favorite activities include camping, attending dirt bike races of all kinds, spending time with their puppy Pepe, and visiting with friends.

Robert proposed in November, 2010. Before heading off to work, Kellie left a note for Robert on a pair of jeans saying, “wash me please” so she could wear them to a concert they were going to that night. When she came home, Robert asked if she messed up what she wrote on the note, that it didn’t make sense?? When she went to look at it, he had written “Marry Me Please!”. When she turned around he was on his knee with roses and the ring. Of course she said “YES”!

Blissful in Seattle…

Heading downtown Seattle is always so much fun! But this time I really had a blast with these two love birds, Jacqui & Taner! We started with The Sculpture Park; where Tanner proposed! We had a morning of sun, it was cold but we managed to get a lot of smiles and laughs in! We strolled around the park, walked down by the waterfront and then hit The Pike Place Market.

The couple had never been to Post Alley; so that was a fun spot to show them. That’s where I had my Christmas session with Sunshine this year. Love, love, love all the bubble gum! How can that place just not bring a smile to your face? We missed seeing Penny the Pig! She’s a must see when you go to the Market but she was currently in the hospital… A cab driver took her out and crashed into the whole front of the Pike Place the week before. Oops…We did warm up with going to Starbucks as we finished our photoshoot.

Here is a little bit about the couple:

They are best friends.  Their favorite things to do together include walking around Pike Place Market, Edmond’s beaches and going to Seahawk games.  In the summer they always go to the Seattle Ivars & feed the seagulls.   They love camping in Eastern Washington & try to camp as much as we can in the summer.  They love Disneyland and try to go each year, and have gone together twice!  They are going to Disneyworld and the Bahamas for our honeymoon!

They met in the 7th grade and started dating a year after high school. They worked together at Funtasia throughout high school.  In April they will have been together for 5 years.  Last May they bought a house together in Edmond’s where they plan to live for a few years.  They both have two brothers, no sisters but Jacqui has a sister in law and 5 nieces & nephews so along with becoming a husband Taner will becoming an Uncle to five when they get married.   They have a kitten named Belle who they both love to death. Taner is a mechanic, and has always loved cars & is getting more into four wheeling.  Jacqui works at John L. Scott Real Estate.  She LOVES weddings and anything that has to do with weddings.  Cars are easily Taner’s favorite hobby & weddings are mine.  They love spending time together just hanging out.

Newborn Session / Sweet Baby Luca – “8 days old”

I’m so blessed to photograph this family over and over… Every time I just love it more and more! This family is so full of life, so fun to be around, and loved by so many! They have another bundle of joy; baby girl Luca!

Here is a little bit about the family:

Jeremy and Joy met in the theater department at Bellevue Christian High School. They were married in 2006 and went to work building their careers. When their oldest daughter Lynnea came into the picture, life changed drastically. They started taking every excuse to explore the world with their fun-loving daughter! When snuggly little Luca was born almost two years later, they added yet another reason to celebrate. This photo shoot was Luca’s “welcome home” session. It was a great reason to stop and capture a moment in the life of their growing family. They can’t wait to see how much fun lies ahead with two little girls to explore with!

We started the session with the new bundle of joy! Then we moved onto the family photos which was such a blast too! And, I LOVE how their house is full with darling framed photos I have taken over the past sessions! So, so, so cute! And, all of the darling hand-made hats are made by: Bugaboo Boutique! Check them out on Facebook! And, the YUMMY CUPCAKES are from PINKABELLA! These are a must try if you are already not hooked!

So sweet and in L-O-V-E… Vintage Style…

We lucked out with a perfect day for this couple, yes, SUNSHINE!!! It was a perfect evening, gorgeous sunset, a beautiful location, darling couple, and tons of fun props! (which of course I just L-O-V-E!) Their outfits were so cute, they both were sporting the vintage look. Our photoshoot included a bicycle built for two, her grandma’s tea-cups, and I can’t forget the home-ade adorable cup cakes she made. YUMMY! So, so, so fun….

Here is a little bit about the couple:

Andrew and Kim met when they were just 4 years old in England. Their families have been long time friends and kept in contact over the years. They started courting in August of 2009, and a year later, Andrew moved out to Seattle to be with Kim and begin working towards their degrees. When they get a chance to have some time alone, they love to go to the Kirkland waterfront, drink hot chocolate and watch the sun set. Andrew proposed in perfect romance with their parents by their side, just before Christmas 2010. July 1st will be the happiest day of their lives!

And, I’m so excited to share these SNEAK PEEKS:
