A perfect day for a perfect couple! What an amazing day with gorgeous weather, beautiful surroundings, and a couple that is so in LOVE! We started out in the park down by the waterfront then moved on to Alki and ended up downtown Seattle. The colors were breathtaking…leaves everywhere. I just loved the color palette that was all around us. Our next stop included the perfect view of Seattle’s skyline….one of my favorite places to photograph. We then headed downtown and I had a blast photographing this couple with the fabulous architecture…These two are such naturals, so laid back and so much fun! I’m SO excited to share some of their Engagement Session.
Now a little about the amazing couple:
Kyla and Chris started dating six years ago after meeting at a restaurant they both worked at and they have been inseparable ever since! Chris is a volunteer firefighter and Kyla is a full-time law student. They share a home with their wonderful son Cole, three cats and a dog. It’s a full house but they wouldn’t have it any other way! They are a very active couple and love doing anything and everything together. Some of their favorite things include: laughing, eating, drinking, playing and loving…
From Kyla: “I can’t imagine feeling more loved than I do with Christian. He continues to surprise me with his love and generosity and I feel so lucky to have found him. We love spending time together, whether it’s going out on the town or staying home with a movie and a good bottle of wine. As long as we’re together, it doesn’t really matter what we’re doing because we just make each other laugh and have a good time! We have raised a beautiful, brilliant little boy together who completes our family. I am so looking forward to spending the rest of our lives together!
From Chris: “Kyla is my BEST friend. Doing something without her makes me wish she was there. I love doing everything with her from going to a concert to relaxing at home. Surprising her is one of my favorite things to do. She’s down to earth & calm while I’m a little more on the “go” & sporadic. We definitely compliment each other’s personalities, I can’t imagine my life without her.”

Jan Bennett - I am so delighted Christian and Kyla are getting married! For six years now Chris has been a treasured member of our family and I’m so very pleased they’ve decided to tie the knot. They make a wonderful couple and are wonderful parents to my darling grandson Cole–these pictures capture the essence of their love for each other so well.
