J + T’s WEDDING!

I have had a wonderful time getting to know Jacqui and Taner and I am excited to share some of their WEDDING DAY photos! They are such a darling couple, so loving, and it has been so fun working with them. We started out at The Edmonds Yacht Club where all the girls got ready. The day was perfect, the sun was shining bright, and these two lovebirds were so excited to tie the knot! The ceremony was held in a beautiful church in Seattle and after the ceremony while the guests then headed to the reception at the Yacht Club, I got to ride in the couple’s fabulous getaway car provided by British Motor Coach and we headed for a few shots at Gas Works Park. We then headed back to join the guests in the big celebration!

P + J’s WEDDING!

I am very excited to share some of the photos from PIPER and JEFF’s WEDDING DAY! The busy day started out at the Pan Pacific Hotel,  where we started with photographing all the “detail” shots while the wedding party and the couple started to get ready. The hotel is gorgeous and what I love about this venue is they got the entire floor to themselves. The couple then had their “1st glance” where they first saw each other at Kerry Park. It was a little hectic this weekend trying to get around with Seafair; however I did get my wish right after the couple saw each other for their “1st glance” the Blue Angles flew right behind them. What a fun sight to see! I loved it! We then headed over to the church where the ceremony was held and back to the Pan Pacific Hotel for the reception!

Lauren’s Maternity and Family Photos!

I love it when my brides tell me their having little ones, especially this bride! So excited for you Lauren! I photographed Lauren and Jesse’s wedding at the Salish Lodge a year ago! (Happy Anniversary to you both!) They are such a fun family that I just adore! They have an adorable little guy named Carter that is beyond precious, so cute, and just always acts so grown up. And, I can’t wait to meet “Oliver” next. But in the meantime, I had so much fun taking Lauren’s “Maternity Photos!” We started off with the more intimate ones, and then the ones I am going to share are some of the family ones we did outside!

Now a little about the couple:

Jesse is a hard working guy who loves spending time with his family. He loves being in the outdoors mountain biking and golfing in the summer, and in the winter he loves to snow mobile. He also spends a lot of time outside with their little one Carter.

Lauren is passionate about her crafts and is busy nesting putting together the baby nursery. (Which by the way is almost done and the cutest nursery I have ever seen!) She loves spending as much time as possible with her boys, and also likes her time spent at the hair salon she runs.

Carter is 3 years old and just started preschool! He loves singing and dancing and seems to be getting funnier by the day. He is very excited about having a little brother coming soon and everyday is always asking, “Can I kiss the baby?” He wants to always let everybody know his brother will be named “Oliver.” The precious little bundle is due in the beginning of November and will be the second grandbaby on both sides of their family. He is so active already and they can’t wait to see his little face!

Can’t wait to take your hospital and newborn photos next! Thank you again so much to all of you! I just adore you all!

Much love,

FAMILY TIME! Whidbey Island style!

I love family sessions and especially out at the beach….how could I not, right? 🙂 Whidbey Island is gorgeous and I had a fun day taking a ferry ride there to shoot at this beautiful location. I was out last summer at the same location and it’s so relaxing and a perfect picture spot. The fog was totally out that day I was there and you really couldn’t see the water, but I still got tons of sand in my shoes and some fun shots.

The beach house cabin was originally built in 1972 and was torn down three years ago and was replaced with a dream home for Grandma and Grandpa to retire in one day. And, is now a wonderful getaway for all of their families to enjoy. So not only did we have Grandma and Grandpa, we had their three sons, and their families. Two of the families were from Everett, and the third one was from California, perfect timing for a family shoot. This is a perfect spot for many memories and traditions for this family and of course their darling dogs too. (Which I just love by the way!)

Thank you again Gretchen for letting me come out and enjoy your beautiful home! Next time I want to go crabbing! 🙂

Cheers,
Rachelle

P.S. And thanks again Katie for another referral! I can’t begin to thank you enough for spreading the word. You are truly amazing! XO!<

A + E!

I always LOVE shooting downtown… urban, brick walls, alleys, and fantastic signage, tons of people, the pig, and flying fish! Put a darling couple in front of those backgrounds and you get a lot of extra cuteness!
Now a little about Alex and Emily:
Alex has a compassionate personality who enjoys playing video games, fishing, camping, and surrounding himself with close friends and family. Emily is an outgoing, bubbly, straightforward kind of girl. She has a strong love for art, enjoys hiking, the beach, and dancing. The two met their first night of college and three and a half years later the two still spend as much time as they can together.  They are both graduates from Flagler College, of St. Augustine, FL; they enjoy the small town life style and traveling together. They love spending as much time on or in the water as possible, fishing, watching a movie in or out, playing board games, cards, and video games.

After the shoot we had lunch together at Beecher’s Cheese. If you haven’t been there before it’s a must stop when you go to Pike Place Market, talk about yummy! One of Oprah’s favorite picks too.

Thanks again guys! I sure had a blast with you both!
Cheers,
Rachelle
